American pop star Jennifer Lopez sang at a concert organized by Saudi Arabia. The event was organized in Jeddah last week on the occasion of the 'Saudi Arabian Grand Prix' competition. 

However, the Muslim world and Mecca's devotees have expressed anger over the concert being organized just 80 km from Mecca, the holiest city in Islam.

The Middle East-based media outlet The New Arab reported this information in a report on April 21. The media outlet's report said that this concert was part of Saudi Vision 2030. 

Saudi Arabia is working to diversify its entertainment and cultural sectors.  As a result, artists from outside have been coming to Saudi Arabia to attend various events.

After Jennifer Lopez's concert, widespread criticism began on social media. Many have called the American singer's concert so close to Mecca 'shameful' and 'a direct insult to Islam'.

They say that it is not right to organize such an event in this place near the holy Kaaba, a place of honor for millions of people.

Someone wrote on the micro-blogging site X, "It is very disrespectful to organize such a pop concert with revealing clothes and dancing so close to Mecca. 

Saudis must remember that they are in charge of the holiest place in Islam."

Earlier, in December last year, Jennifer Lopez performed in Riyadh as part of the Elie Saab fashion show. At that time too, there was criticism. But the Saudi government is defending all this to implement Prince Salman's Vision 2030.

In addition to concerts with foreigners, Saudi Arabia has also organized film festivals and various sporting events.

Then the people of Arab will fully implement what the Kitab al-Fitn says. This Jewish cancer in the heart of Palestine, which is one of the areas of destruction of the world, this cancer germ is being nurtured by the Arab world.  Even if someone treats me badly, I will continue to speak the truth.
