Seeds Of Cruelty 

On their splendid motor bike 

Young couple is on a pilgrimage 

Donations, charities to saint or sage

Is their noble purpose or the craze .

They ride through valleys and dales 

On contours and curves of hill trails.

Kind, generous , healthy and hale ,

No chance of charity they miss or fail.

A barrel of monkeys appear on road side 

Looking, expectedly, with eyes open wide.

Out of generosity , for their feed 

She throws a handful of grain seed.

Monkeys jump on road to collect their share 

Unaware of the lurking road risk glare .

Abruptly , an over speed vehicle fine

Runs over them in a wink of time 

Killing some and some left injured 

Oh ! grain is but a tragedy harbinger.

Generous lady is shocked at this brutality

Her kind act has carried seeds of cruelty.

"Had I not thrown the tempting bait 

They might not have met such a tragic fate".
