Grace And Glory

She is in exact proportion,

In exquisite shape and formation.

Nothing in her being is absent,

Everything is adequately present.

Yes, she is generously endowed,

Abundantly she has been bestowed

With those contours and curves

That a woman vies for or deserves.

In her mind and body

She is beautiful already.

A dream of every man

Fair, black, bronze or tan.

Yet, in her something rings

Her soul feels those stings.

Therefore , she selects

A pair of bead earrings

To enhance her looks

From her earlobes to swing.

Oh no! this is not enough

She needs more some stuff

Expensive and effective

To make her look more attractive.

Therefore, to feed

Her craving and greed

She adorns her neck

With necklace of gem bead.

With artificial adornment

Temporary not permanent

Does she look more bracing

Or something is yet lacking?

Her search is yet racing

Something she is yet tracing,

To look wholesome and full

To be more attractive,not dull.

Stunned in bewildering horror

She shuts off the dressing mirror,

Amid the resounding warning

How she could look charming?

Abusing

Or musing

She goes into her backyard garden

Of natural beauty,an ardent warden

Of natural bliss, a constant guardian.

She stands under a mango tree,

Instantly feels elated and free.

Flowering vines and plants

Lend her  beauty that Nature grants.

Surrounded by natural objects

She is the most beautiful subject.

Making the silent air to flutter

From close end his words utter

" Grace and glory at par

   How beautiful you are !”

As in her soul his words perch

She finds an end to her search.

Bliss rolling over all around

Her joys know no bound.

Beauty is not a decorated crepe

Nor in exquisite body or shape.

It is not in precious ornaments

Neither in artificial adornments.

It is in the natural applications

In simple words of appreciations

Of the bewitched beholder,

Of an admirer not the scolder.
